"Black Souls" is the new GSB Blog. What is it? Why? What is the goal? What changes compared to the historical blog?

The 137 GSB Blog posts published between August 2023 and August 2024 (which we call "Historical Blog" here) have ranged across many shades of Satanism and have offered all readers numerous themes, ideas, references and principles on what it means to be a Satanist. This copious effort has not exhausted all the things that are to be said and should be said, but the time has come to continue towards a further approach.

Your many and affectionate comments have underlined an important aspect, and I can say that it was truly a choral voice of the entire Brotherhood: Satan, Satanism, Demons, Left Hand Path, Evil, Abyss, Black... so many words, but what do I really have to do? Beyond the words, what do I have to do in practice? Although I am against this kind of instruction manual approach - Satanism and its knowledge are esoteric and inexplicable, and everyone discovers them in an occult way, that is, by themselves - the time has come to listen to this choral voice and orient the GSB Blog towards a more specific Left Hand Path teaching, without distorting its esoteric nature - and this is the difficult part.

The goal of "Black Souls" is to delve deeply into the practices of the Left Hand Path, trying to answer the many questions you ask as "correctly" as possible. By "correctly" I mean that "Black Souls" is not intended to be and will not be the GSB spellbook. If this ever happens, then it will be a failure and it will be time to put an end to this entire project. "Correctly" means that the occult nature of Satanism will be respected first and foremost, because it is inevitable and to betray it means to betray the essence of Satanism. "Black Souls" will not be the book of instructions for summoning demons and getting in touch with Satan, but it will rely on the theoretical foundations of Traditional Satanism (see "The Satanic Path") and will be nourished by the essential principles of a Satanist (see the historical GSB Blog) to inspire a practical approach to otherwise abstract ideas - especially for those taking their first steps in the Left Hand Path.

The publication of the pages of "Black Souls" will be weekly, as is now tradition for the GSB Blog. The project will last at least one year and will be built page after page, in more progressive chapters. A fundamental aspect is that, from a certain point on, to understand "Black Souls" it will be necessary to have read the contents of "The Satanic Path", the guide to Satanism self-produced by GSB, which you can always find on this site.

Often, the publication of the pages will not be in chronological order. Often a new chapter will begin without having completely concluded the previous one. Often, other pages will be added to previous chapters that seemed already concluded. This is because it would be useless to try to fully illustrate a theme and conclude it before starting another. The publication of "Black Souls" will be primarily a vertical progression and occasionally a horizontal one.

The sequence of pages and chapters has already been pre-established in its main lines and in some details, but any advice is welcome and it will contribute to making "Black Souls" more specific for the readers of this blog. Unlike the previous blog, it will not be possible to comment on the individual pages, so a new section of the GSB Forum has been opened in which to concentrate all the discussion on these new contents.
